Jacquie, Kim and I walked the couple of miles into Marlow, leaving John to watch a recording of the Grand Prix. By the time we returned John knew that Jason Button had won and could now relax and read the papers, but more importantly a mooring place had been vacated at the end of the staithe and we decided to move to it as it was perfect for sun bathing and our planned, late afternoon barbi.

We set up table, chairs and the sun umbrella on the bank and fired up the barbi. It was perfect! rounded off by ice creams, conveniently supplied from the nearby kiosk.
