WEDNESDAY 27TH MAY 2009
Rain today, so no sign of the girls disporting themselves on the roof as we proceeded passed the lovely stretch of river at Runnymede, which we have driven passed so often, but it didn’t look so inviting in the rain despite it being the site for the RAF, Magna Carta and the Kennedy Memorials.
By the time we tied up at Walton on Thames at least the rain had stopped, Two local chums arrived for drinkies: Long time friend Polly and Allan, an ex work colleague, great to welcome them on board.
After they had left, the girls headed of and returned with a disappointing take away Thai dinner, John and I came back with fish and chips, the boys meal won hands down.
